CHALLENGE
The starting point.
Sundial Press is a fictional independent publishing concept. The brief was to create a cover system that gave a small title a strong presence. Each edition needed to feel connected while allowing its own subject to lead.
DIRECTION
The direction.
A large serif title, a quiet blue, and a small orange sun form the visual grammar. Flexible margins and a simple grid help the system adapt across covers, article openings, and promotional material.
OUTCOME
The result of the concept.
The design study establishes a repeatable editorial family. A small number of strong rules make room for many stories. The cover illustration is original template artwork.
